I grew up in rural ranch country, which meant I spent a large part of each day working with and taking care of horses, livestock and small animal pets. Becoming a veterinarian has given me a lifetime profession that’s allowed me to continue working with animals.” Dr Piper’s hometown is Wood, South Dakota; He graduated from Iowa State University in 1987 and owns one cute rat terrier that goes by the name Milo.
